Instructions: 
It is very easy to use Busch sea foil together with Busch grass mats.

Cut the shape of the lake out of the grass mat.  Then cut out a slightly larger piece of the sea foil (with coloured paper).  Glue coloured paper to the respective part of your layout board.  Lay sea foil over coloured paper and glue to its outer rim (which will be covered by the grass mat).  Finally blue grass mat on the board.  The embankment should be fitted properly.  

A realistic three dimensionl effect can be producted as follows:

Cut the section intended for the position of the lake out of the construction board.  Fill teh hole by fixing a second board underneath it.  The 'base of lake' could be painted with blue and green colour mixture and filled up with gravel and plants (eg. lichen).  Glue sea foil to the edges of the water level and decorate the embankment with grass mats or flocks, etc.
