In an announcement yesterday, it was revealed the Accurascale have purchased the assets of Heljan.

I have learned that all of our existing Heljan orders, and those of every other Heljan stockist in the UK, have been cancelled and it will no longer be possible for retailers to obtain new Heljan models.

Unfortunately this means that any pre-orders placed with us will, sadly, have to be cancelled.

I have had no formal dialogue with Accurascale, and as I'm sure you can appreciate, it is very disappointing to learn of the closure of your account via social media.

The situation with regards to spares support and warranty support of our existing stock and items purchased from Trains4U remains unclear.

I am still waiting to see if Accurascale will contact me regarding this (Trains4U is an Accurascale stockist and customer after all).  In the meantime, I need to consider what Trains4U can do to support our customers with Heljan products and how we manage our existing Heljan stocks.

I am saddened and disappointed that we will no longer have access to the Heljan range and all of us at Trains4U hope that you, our customers, will continue to support us and continue purchasing from our extensive range of alternative products.
